Living the Dream?!?!
Before you start reading through this, take a moment to stop and look at what’s around you. Where are you? Who’s there? What’s on today’s to-do list? How do you feel? Are you happy? Excited? Sad? Frustrated? Confused?
I think it’s aways a bit confusing to think about where we are and how we got to this moment because, so many things happen to create each day we experience and each feeling we feel. For me, the battle lies within the “why?”. “Why” am I here and “why” do I do the things I do?
If you guys have been following my journey for some time, you’d know that I always try to remind all of us to do what we want and what we love because… why waste time on doing something that makes you unhappy and doesn’t bring out the best in you. You deserve more and the world needs that BEST VERSION OF YOU! Now, this is where it might get a little tricky…
I think people see working a “dream job” aka. what you are supposed to be doing, as all rainbows, sunshine, and happiness, and don’t get me wrong, it’s a lot of that, but I believe if you are truly doing what you love, you are pushing yourself to discover “what’s next” and continuing to find ways to grow, which can be uncomfortable.
Think about it. We know when things are good because we’ve been through ugly times, and although the ugly times are not fun to go through, we associate with getting through them with the reward. Therefore, we continue to push ourselves through these uncomfortable to get to the “what’s next”, that next step.
That’s training in a nut shell. Are these workouts that we put ourselves through ever really that fun? Not really. But we know that when we get past them, that reward of more strength, more endurance, a fitter and healthier you is the fun and the good feeling.

I’m so thankful for all of the opportunities I have been given! I truly believe that I have my dream job and doing the things I was meant to be doing. But, that doesn’t mean every day is cotton candy land… actually many are difficult because I like to push myself to DO MORE, GIVE MORE, and MAKE MORE out of the amazing opportunities that have been presented to me.
Wrapping this all up, I want us to realize that the grass is not greener. Everybody is facing their own challenges. Be thankful for the good and the bad. We want both.
AND HERE’S THE DEAL…
IF YOU ARE NOT EXPERIENCING THE GOOD AS WELL AS THE BAD ARE YOU WHERE YOU SHOULD BE? IS THERE MORE WE COULD POSSIBLY CHASE DOWN? ARE YOU LIVING THE DREAM?
