Emotional Support!
Hey guys, I just wanted to let you guys know that I am happy to be your emotion support spirit animal if you need one! ;)
What I mean by that is, I support your emotions! I think as a kid growing up in the world of sports and athletics, I was always thinking I had to be the robot that has no emotions and just works and works. No smiling, no crying, just work. Being the hard working robot isn’t a bad thing. That’s diligence. But, if I’m not mistaken technology has come a long was and I believe us hard working bots out their should learn to use our emotions to our advantage.
I don’t know if it just comes with getting old or something, but I’ve definitely come to the realization that I am a pretty emotional person. All kidding aside… I think that is because I’ve found my passion and really really want to do something with it!
I believe when you love what you do, you FEEL all of the emotions. The emotions are heightened because everything means so much more.
I’ll have good training days that makes me feel unstoppable, like you are exactly on track, and have crystal clear, blue skies, ahead on your journey. Other days might bring tears. Feeling tired, sore, and questioning why you’ve chosen to do this. On those days, it feels like you can’t seethat end goal, it’s a little cloudy that day.
I try to remind myself of this these days
EMOTIONS ARE ENERGY.
We need to use that energy.
You can laugh about it, cry about it, celebrate those wins, and be angry about those losses, just make sure that energy is getting put to good use
on the other side of things, realize when you hold in all of you emotions and don’t express it, it is a waste of energy.
OWN IT! ALL OF IT!
The good, the bad, and the ugly!
Don’t let that energy go to waste.
Let’s use it you FIRE BREATHERS!
