2025 Training Starts Today!

Imma be honest with you guys, I wish I knew exactly what the upcoming CrossFit season looks like for me!

We chatted for a bit on our latest podcast (watch here) about how having an “unclear” understanding of what is going to happen with the upcoming season has made training difficult in a new way. What I am most thankful for during this time is the mental challenge of revisiting the BIG “why” question.

No matter if you are a competitive athlete, a stay at home parent, or someone out hustling at their job, you’ve been through the whole “why an I doing this” feeling. It’s part of existing.

When there is a clear goal in front of you, like “Returning to the CrossFit Games”, it makes the effort of each day a little easier because you have the “why”. However, when that end goal is a little cloudy, it makes putting that extra little umph into things a little harder.

Although making my return to the CrossFit Games is a BIG part of my to-do list, during this cloudy time, I’ve had to remind myself of the even BIGGER reasons. I push as hard as I do do in training because:

  1. I love to compete. That’s plain and simple. I want to take advantage of the years I can push my body this way. There will come the days where I’ll shift gears to another type of challenge, so right now THIS is what I want to do

  2. I believe in the grind and hustling for opportunities. There is to be said about the feeling you get when you see the reps add up. Whether it’s physical reps in the gym or maybe teaching myself a new trick when editing some of my entertainment/comedy videos.

SEEING THE PROGRESS!!! THAT’S FUN!!!

So if you are out there asking yourself “why”, know that you for sure are not alone. Even your crazy CrossFit, wacky weightlifting, freaky face making friend over here has her days too. Just always, go back to doing what you love, so you can enjoy what you do, and then see the growth from al that FUN hard work.

Now, I don’t have any specific competitions lined up at the moment. I have some fun community and coaching tasks to handle here at CrossFit BOLT as well has get rid of some nagging tendonitis in my shoulder before we will be back out on the floor.

*side note: I also believe that CrossFit HQ said we should know more about the direction they are taking in the upcoming weeks. So we are hanging tight and anxious to see that news.

I’M ITCHING TO GET BACK OUT THERE AND KEEP RIDING THE HIGH OF WORKING HARD AND DOING WHAT WE LOVE!

YOU ARE BIG.

You have the power to become the person you want to be, to do the things you want to do. JUST OWN WHO YOU ARE!

Alongside all the hard fitnessing and prepping for our next stage of competition, there’s been a lot of work going on behind the scenes. I’m beyond excited to let you guys know that our new merch line is LIVE on my website rebeccafuselier.com ! We have both t-shirts and tanks available in lots of designs! Everything is produced in house and we are shipping internationally. Just realize shipping internationally is a bit more expensive at the moment.

I want all of my programs to be SIMPLE! One of the hardest things about learning anything new, is knowing where to start and building out the plan. We don’t want it so simple that we miss out of necessary steps. We also don’t want it so complex to where it gets overwhelming. So, that is my goal with $5 Fitness… SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE!

I also just want to help you guys and keep doing all the things that we love to do!. This is a fun way to do that!

The BLITZ Bullets

Heres what BLITZ did this week:

  • BLITZ is ready for this cooler weather thats coming! He spends extra time outside running with his friends at BOLT and chasing the birds.

  • BLITZ is BIG into baseball. And by baseball we mean when Matt takes a foam roller out as the “bat” and hit one of his toys across the gym. I hope we can take him to a real baseball games one day.

  • BLITZ has still has not caught Earl the Squirrel
